I am going to start a little run on featured gardening blogs.
Trawling the pages I came across mytinyplot. The site itself needs some tidying up. The side bars have slipped too far down. Maybe the author is not a passionate blogger but looking at the produce they certainly are passionate gardeners.
The photography is what drew me here and I think the photos in themselves could win awards let along the produce which is stunning too.
A bit about my tiny plot from the about page
"My Tiny Plot is the diary of an allotment. It’s written by an inexperienced gardener, who accepts free tools from strangers, and is now a compulsive seed collector. With its one and only digging assistant Ryan (who prefers to be known as the Under Gardener) mtp plans to take the vegetable gardening world by storm - or at least one very small part of an allotment in the south west of England.
MTP’s 10 commandments:
1. Plots should look pretty as well as feed your tum
2. Always accept advice gracefully - even if you think they’re wrong
3. Re, re, recycle not fade away
4. Do organic until it becomes a pain
5. Accept that celery is the devil’s food
6. Talk to your plot - I do!
7. Snails, slugs, grubs and caterpillars are your friends until they become enemies
8. When they do mourn their death
9. Your car is not a mobile shed - get a tool box
10. Grow some flowers - or the bees won’t come
So enjoy the site and pop back when you can to see what’s going on down at My Tiny Plot.
