Shoot gardening, the on-line gardeners expert is giving away hundreds of pounds in garden gift vouchers in its inaugural peoples garden awards.
A whopping £1,000 is up for grabs to the 'golden' gardener who submits the best garden with £500 for the silver gilt, £300 for the silver and £100 for the bronze winner.
Registration is free by visiting the Shoot gardeningwebsite and publishing your garden with an image and at least 8 plants into the member’s garden directory. The closing date for registering your garden is 31st July.
By the 12th August, twelve green finger guru's will be short listed by a team of judges and then the public get to choose the winner who will walk away with the first ever Shoot Gardening 'Gold medal'.
First of all though you have to be entered to win so to be included in the competition, visit the Shoot Gardening website and submit your garden to the members directory.
The more I see and explore of the Shoot website the more I like it. I still think that the photography needs to get better with larger quality and more detailed photo's.In some cases there are not photographs to accompany the description - otherwise the amount of different uses the website has and the needs of its members are served very well.
Nicola Gammon and her team are certainly focussed and adventurous and the PR seems endless. The awards which I describe above were splashed all over the Telegraph property section.
