Sales in Marshalls - the landscape and building material specialist - are up 7% in 2007 to £403 million (2006 £378m).
Marshalls say that despite wet summer, the domestic landscape market has increased slightly over 2006 and sees good potential in the next year.
There are a number of initiatives to boost organic growth in addition to acquisition chest of about £14m.
Most of the recent development has revolved around the domestic landscape installation business with a target of 8 display centres across the UK by the end of 2008.
The order book for landscape installations is up slightly to 9.9 weeks from 9.1 weeks (2006)
