How would you like to put a revolutionary tool through its paces before general release next February?
Alan Neath of Terrafirma Tools, and member of our Landscape Juice Network, is looking for suggestions and feedback from gardeners' on his 'Terraraptor' patented gardening tool.
The tool, which is still under prototype, is designed to allow a gardeners', who may be weeding or planting for long periods, to adopt a kneeling position while they work and take the stress out of the job.
The ergonomically designed handle is moulded to the users forearm profile while the head is interchangeable with a fork or a spade - with other attachments planned.
Alan says of his gardening tool: "The tool ( FORK or SPADE version ) was designed primarily because I do a lot of maintenance work such as weeding and planting out, and I found that small 12 inch hand tools create blisters on the palm and sore wrists, and traditional full size shovels and spades were hard work when kneeling down in tight spaces or borders and beds."
Alan is giving away two of his prototype tools for gardeners' to trial.
