Small businesses are going to be tested this year with some becoming smaller businesses and naturally others being elevated up the pecking order as the bigger boys above, crumble and leave a vacant empty space.
Getting the right advice as your business grows is important and although I push the potential of the Internet, it is important to listen and watch other people rather than just read what they say on a blog - however, this site lets you combine the two.
This site from the British Chamber of Commerce is an excellent resource to help you with decisions and to watch and listen to what other businesses are doing.
This show is one in particular that I found of enormous interest. Heather Gorringe, the founder of Wiggly Wigglers talks about how she engaged with social media and the Internet to market her business.
Wiggly Wigglers won the global Dell small business excellence award in 2008 although the business is run from a tiny village in Herefordshire with just sixty three residents.
