I sincerely thought that Gardeners' World, now fronted by Toby Buckland, was about to win over a whole new group of gardening viewers with the move away from Berryfields and into urbanshire with its new muddy field plot.
However, if the views of our network members and the BBC forum are anything to go by, are anything to go by, there is a danger that more fans will leave that join the ranks.
Kevin felt it was 'embarrassing' whilst Roger reckons it was more like Blue Peter, Peter says: "Stopped watching it a while ago anyway, definitely wont be watching it now as it seems to be going backwards."
The backlash has also seen many GW fans vent their feelings on the BBC message boards with DEVILISH40 letting the BBC know exactly what was felt:
"We all now know that Gardeners World is not aimed at or meant for us gardeners. We have just got to get over it and face the fact that real Gardeners World ended when Monty had to leave.
"So it's all over and we must let the mourning process run its course. The emotional wound will heal in time and some occupational therapy in our real gardens will help us mend."
Do you think there is enough time to turn it round?
