The Galapagos giant tortoises can live up to 170 years. It would be great to know which is the oldest living tortoise in the world.

A giant Aldabran tortoise named 'Adwaitya' died at Kolkata(India) Alipore Zoo at the age of 255years in March 2006.
He was gifted to Robert Clive of the East India Company in 1875 by sailors coming from Seychelles and was born in 1750.
His shell is still preserved at the Alipore Zoo & underwent carbon-dating to confirm the age.
Story released by Animal-Planet channel/website.
Hope that helps.
