Hozelock's supply chain logistics and resource efficiency has landed them a MX2009 award in the Institution of Mechanical Engineers at annual awards held at the Dorchester Hotel in London.
Managing Director Peter Rush was presented with the award by Lord Paddy Ashdown, recognising the company's success in dealing with the challenges in demand created by short term weather patterns.
In its fiftieth year, Birmingham based Hozelock - who produces garden watering and spraying equipment - won its third consecutive MX Award.
Last year, Hozelock won the Customer Focus Award after winning the Business Development and Change Management Award the previous year.
Peter Rush commented: "Winning our third MX Award is the best possible 50th anniversary gift we could have had, and continues,
"Managing the supply chain is critical to our business and it is highly appropriate that we should win the Logistics and Resource Efficiency Award in a year which has seen record demand for our products throughout the spring and early summer.
"Over 75% of our products are manufactured in Birmingham and our commitment to on-shore production is the key to our speed and flexibility."
The MX awards were sponsored by Warwick Manufacturing Group.
