I am watching the all American tribute to Michael Jackson on the television. My Daughter Fleur is listening to Michael Jackson's ABC.
I cannot say that I was a great follower of his music, collected his albums or even hankered after going to a concert but I do realise now that for a very long time, Michael Jackson's music has featured throughout life.
My children, who are fifteen and a half and eleven, were just finding his music. Here is France, Michael Jackson's music was starting on its second wave. The irony is, the youngsters don't connect with the now and then. I am sure that my kids think he is a new found talent.
I don't want to make any corny gestures but I took this photograph as the sun set a couple of evenings ago. Even when the sun goes down, this sunflower will continue to shine all night long.
