Would you be happy if a gardener or landscaper smoked at work?

There is an interesting topic developing on the Landscape Juice Network about smoking at work.

Even smokers are saying that they don't smoke or refuse to let their workers smoke in the garden because it looks unprofessional.

One member said: "Once heard someone describe smoking in public as being like having a pee while you are in the local swimming baths - quite pleasant for the person doing it, but not so pleasant for the anyone in the immediate vicinity"

What are your thoughts, is smoking unprofessional and a waste of your [paid] time?
