The BALI national awards have been held today at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane and the Grand Award has gone to Water Gems (Alba) of South Queensferry, Scotland.
All of the 2009 award winners had already been announced on the BALI website but those attending had to wait until today to find out if they had won the ultimate prize in their respective categories.
Guests to this years £125 a head event were down by over a hundred compared to 2008.
