The Oatridge horticultural college in Lothian, Scotland, is set to lose its Suntrap Garden after being faced with a £750,000 bill to bring it up to standard.
NEWS.Scotsman.com reports that the garden, which was bequeathed to the National Trust for Scotland by George Boyd Anderson in 1972, is set to close as early as July after the trustees failed to source the finance needed to carry out the work.
The garden provides courses where people with learning difficulties can learn horticulture.
