If, like me, you're planning to visit next week's IOG Saltex exhibition at Windsor racecourse, you'll be wondering if there's a wireless internet hub so that you can tweet and blog - in real time - what's going on and what's being displayed at the various industry stands?
I've even gone out and purchased an iPhone4 and signed up to a contract so I can blog live from the event.
I don't want to send lots of data over the 3G network because I have an Orange account based here in France; it would cost me a packet: my ideal solution would be to utilise a static WiFi system...but there's a problem.
I can tell you it came as a bit of a shock to learn that the Institute of Groundsmanship haven't provided this facility.
I spoke with press officer for the event, Colin Hoskins, and he told me that the venue has WiFi but it hasn't been made available to attendees.
Chris will be talking to the guys at Windsor on Monday and hopefully we'll get access to the network.
Fingers crossed.
