You might have noticed a yellow advertising banner in the right side bar of late?

I put it there and linked it to a post with the view of encouraging service and product providers to consider advertising with us. What I didn't explain was why I feel I have a good proposition for you?

It is fair to say that Landscape Juice is a start up and it has not covered, and probably wont, every aspect of gardening as yet. In fact we have not even touched the surface of the horticultural and landscaping world.

I cannot aim to cover every news story that is released either. however, we are making waves and getting noticed and one way I can see this is in our search results. You see, Landscape Juice was meant to be different from the start. I wanted to provide topical and interesting, sometimes controversial, provocative, humorous and delivered in a style that is all my own and you know, it is starting to work.

There are a lot of blogs in the blogosphere. Some are good and some are very good. Some are poor and some are very poor yet there are not many Landscaping blogs that cross the line regularly of being a personally written approach to informative and newsworthy.

The likes of Horticulture Week, The Landscaper, The Greenkeeper etc are old school magazine type sites. They do not realise that the internet has changed the way news is delivered and their potential clients are interacting with new punchy sites and for some it will come too late.

Gardenforum, a well patronised online magazine type site has recently changed to a subscription based delivery site. A move, at this stage of the Web 2. development that could turn out to be financial suicide.
