Since stumbling across the Complete Gardens website I have kept an eye on developments and even been in contact with its creator Neil Bromhall.
Neil is an 'Emmy' award winning photographer and Cameraman who worked with David Attenborough on The Private Life of Plants and was also nominated for a BAFTA for his work The Life of Mammals.
I found, after all of the software we used in our business, the Complete Gardens CD, which is endorsed by BBC gardener Chris Beardshaw, is the most powerful and user friendly application to date.
There are some exciting developments in the pipeline which I believe will take this software to another level least not a 3,500 plant version and an assault on the North American Market.
The software has also just been given a 'Best Buy' award by Computer Shopper after being reviewed. It topped a list which included the popular but clunky BBC Gardening CD and the Geoff Hamilton package.
In my view it is also the best value too with a price tag which will not bust your pocket at £25.00.
I would bookmark the Complete Gardens website and if you are Chelsea this year you can meet and chat with Neil who will be exhibiting.
p.s. Although I have attached the complete gardens link in the sidebar I do not have a financial stake or interest in the company or its products and I would be happy to review any product of a similar nature.
