Vegetable gardeners are patiently (or impatiently for some) waiting for the weather to improve, so that they can get onto the soil and begin some of this seasons preparation.
The seed catalogues have been consulted and orders put in, in order to provide the seasons fresh produce.
There are some bloggers and veg enthusiasts who have meticulously planned their veg garden on paper. For the less organised there is a new website that may be of help.
GrowVeg.com is an on line planning tool for your vegetable garden that allows you to draw out your plot or allotment to scale and introduce your produce in a scaled environment.
There is a 30 day free trial option and subscription costs £15.00 per year.
The website has been very well constructed and the site creator, Jeremy Dore, keeps a tidy blog too which, as you know, I think is essential to promote your business.
I really like this software but i wish it would let you design the landscape too as modern allotments are also used as a garden for us city peep. Do you think this will be available in the future? The bbc version is Rubbish as there are hardly any veg to choose from, does anybody have any suggestions on this or where i can buy the software to do this?many thanks and happy gardening?.!

Marcus,
Thanks for your comment - it's a good point that you make about allotments being the only garden for many city dwellers. GrowVeg.com is an ongoing project and we have many improvements planned for the future. Some basic landscaping can already be drawn by using the drawing tools and text boxes but we plan to add symbols for outbuildings and perhaps other items. There are plenty of new veg on the way too!
