I had a comment left yesterday by a French horticulture student who is looking for work experience and a four week job placement in the UK this summer.
Her name is Elodie Delwarde and she left all of her details as a comment on Landscape Juice yesterday. I have edited out the personal details for obvious security reasons, but I am happy to accept enquiries to pass on directly to Elodie for her consideration.
If you are interested, please email me philipvoice@gmail.com
All the details, together with Elodie's CV are in the bottom part of this post.
Sir or Madam
I am eighteen year old female student in landscape studies at a School of horticulture in Saint Germain en Laye, near Paris.
During this two year course, we have to do several practical work placements includong one abroad which must last at least four weeks.
I have already done several work placements with French professionnals and now I would like to gain experience in an English-speaking country.
I have chosen to do this work placement in Great Britain because I would like to discover British culture, and to be able to admire the landscapes.
This training period has a double aim: First to improve my knowledge of English and also to discover horticultural techniques in your country.
I would like to know if it possible for me to spend a four-week placement with your company, preferably in June.
I hope that you will be interested in my apllication, and I look forward to receving your reply. Please find enclosed my curriculum vitea.
Yours faithfully.
Elodie Delwarde

Dear Elodi
I am looking for a landscape gardening student to support me with a new project. This is a residential garden which is currently waste ground so a blank canvas to work from. I am able to offer free accommodation and meals in my home, 20 minutes from central London, next to the station.
You can contact me on my mobile number 07939 508487 for further details
I look forward to hearing from you
Kind regards

I have just read your message, and wondered whether you would be interested, or know of someone who speaks English, who can help us develop a steep garden(just grass at the moment) into something that would resemble a garden.Ideally it would be a low maintenance garden.
We are based in St Cergue, Vaud, Switzerland, and we would ideally be looking for someone from 01 September 2008.
Regards
Trevor Clarke
