I was hoping to keep you up to date with exciting developments over at the Garden Network site, but, unfortunately I have been banned and my membership has been revoked.
I am yet to receive an explanation as to the reason but I can only assume I have made some remarks - I call it constructive comments - about the functionality of membership.
If any network is going to succeed there needs to be a constant flow of information between users. I wrote only this week about desire lines within your gardening business model explaining how you need to guide a client through your portal. whether that be electronic or physical front door.
I wish the Garden Network well but unless it changes its attitude towards membership, I feel it will stumble upon some tougher times and fairly soon alienate members who need to have complete freedom.
Has anyone any views on how a social network, instinctively or mechanical should be able to operate?
Of course, comments in the Landscape Network will be appreciated.
LOL banned already eh Phil!
Not sure who the garden network are but interested to see that Friends Reunited have had to drop their fees due to all the social web2 sites out there even the online side of things is starting to have its own mini revolutions.

Hi Rich
That is interesting to hear about FU.
The old model of selling access to networks is dead isn't it?
I am not so much miffed about being banned but a little perplexed as to why???
I believe there is no such thing, in this age, as competitors to your business.
We are all working to a common goal and more than enough room for more than one.
I read a quote today from Linette Applegate about creating a level playing field for business and the consumer to share - after today, I can see nothing is further from the truth.
Hope you are busy?
Phil
