Totally disagree! Best way to enjoy Kew is to become a a Friend - only £71 a year for as many visits as you like plus you can take a guest each time. I visit at least once a month and spend up to 5 hours a time wandering around in a cloud of horticultural delights. Never fail to learn something new or see a different plant.Cost works out minimal and is the best value day out I know.
Kew is unique and needs all our support - I never resent helping gardens to thrive as they give so much pleasure to so many.
Kew is also a vital part of our gardening heritage and the envy of the worlds horticultural community so lets not knock it but be proud that we have such an amazing place to visit.
