I am not sure if I like Jeremy Clarkson or not; one minute he is funny, witty and articulate and the next he has said something that everyone regrets - except himself.
I have to chuckle though at the accuracy of his gardening advice on The Times website.
What Clarkson describes does seem to happen an awful lot - don't take it too seriously and you will have a thoroughly hilarious read.
"Gardening is like doing a jigsaw. A pointless way of passing the time until you die. Pruning is like putting the completed picture back in the box so that you can start again. And the net effect is that the tree you planted to shield the neighbours’ new skyscraper is now only 2in tall and looks stupid.
I am now looking forward to Monty Don's blog on how to drop the gearbox out of a 1967 mini copper 'S'.
