Temperatures have risen of late and 17 degrees C was recorded yesterday...it felt distinctly spring-like with long periods of sunshine.
Out on my morning walk I heard the distinctive sound of the Golden Oriele - Oriolus oriolus...although I didn't see it as they are notoriously secretive.
You can listen to the Golden Oriele song on the RSPB website.

What a beautiful bird.
I'm enjoying these milder temperatures despite showers. Sunday looks windy!

Hi Rob
Have you seen the Golden Oriele where you are?
Looks like we are in the path of a big storm moving northwards.

I've not seen an Oriele here.
The pending storm looks possibly damaging for some. I think Brittany might take a real bashing.
