Your last sentence made me think back to when I was a child. Only today I was looking at mine and saw just one cabbage white butterfly.

Yes, the studies Marc has carried out are valuable. I wonder how many people have seen more of any kind of bird or butterfly, that is there are some species that seem to be doing very well. Thanks for your comment, Stuart
