Working at height can be a hazardous activity; especially while using a piece of machinery such as a chainsaw or hedge cutter.
A recent demonstration by a safety officer at Morrison's facilities underlined the dangers of working on ladders when a safety line, designed to keep an operator safe if he slipped from the ladder, contributed to the ladder sliding away from the wall it was resting on and sending the officer flying over the garden fence still attached by the wire.
Morrison's employees were in raptures until the accident and rushed to their colleagues aid who luckily was unhurt...except perhaps for bruised pride.
One employee is heard to say "I thinks that's just proved the system doesn't work: am I right?"
