Just received my Primo 60 oven. In the next week or so I'll assemble & fire her up & do a review

Any chance I get I'm throwing something on the BBQ.
There is nothing better in my opinion than food cooked over wood. There's just no better taste.
The south west of France is renowned for its magret de canard; pizza and entrecôte's a speciality too.
Now I can cook them all and I'll be sure to blog about my experience.
I've always wanted an outdoor oven and I've been drooling them ever since Laura joined the Landscape Juice Network.
I contacted Laura and offered to review the Primo 60 in return for a free oven. I otherwise would have been happy, based on what I'd seen, to have paid.
My only condition was that I would be honest about my findings.
The above tweeted picture is about four minutes after delivery. I was inspecting the contents of the pallet for breakages before the lorry drove off.
My first impression is that the construction is very good. The concrete is cleanly moulded. Its contemporary design is also attractive.
I did prefer the previous design which didn't have a chimney but I guess it also meant the smoke would blow out into the cook's face?
If I can get a burly helper to assist me with moving it this afternoon I'll find something to cook.
Watch this space.
Ahh outdoor cooking. There's something very convivial about gathering around and outdoor oven/BBQ. It looks good. You could roast a chicken in there methinks. I bet it's great for pizza!
