I am excited to say that we have achieved another first here at Landscape Juice by being included in a major three year project which is aimed at connecting landscape practitioners directly with policy makers at the heart of European governance.
Whilst the UK's so-called landscape associations spend their time bickering and trying to sell their organisations to a disinterested majority, we've managed to secure a position within the HERCULES project which aims to put the landscape practitioner right at the heart of the landscape industry.
This development comes after nearly two years of discussion. It's yet another first for Landscape Juice and underlines our commitment to the practitioner and cut out the annoying politics and selfishness that has proliferated the landscape industry for decades.
You can read more about Landscape Juice's involvement and what it means for Landscape Juice members here.
If I were a member of a landscape association (thankfully I'm not) I would be asking questions of my governing officers and why they are not included within this very important project? I'd also be asking, where exactly is my, not inconsiderable, membership fee spent?
